I must be nuts

We braved the dreaded construction filled Chicago expressways for yet another trip downtown. This time it was for Toddlers, Tunes & Turtles at the Nature Museum.

We had a fabulous time splashing in water, petting turtles, dancing to tunes & mooching snacks off of S & Family.

Of course, my camera battery died and I didn't get very many
pictures :(
*my favorite part of the evening was stopping at The Ethiopian Diamond for take-out. Yum!

Wiggleworms PJ Party

Tonight we headed down to the Lincoln Square neighborhood to check out the Wiggleworms PJ Party offered by the Chicago Park District and the Old Town School of Music. The band was called The Swing Sets and although I don't usually dig kid's music, they were really good.
We had a great time with friends!

Ouch!

We made our 1st trip to the ER last night. Ok, technically it was our 2nd since we did go the day after we came home from Ethiopia because T had a horrible cold and we didn't know what we were doing.
Well, apparently we still don't.
T had just gotten out of the tub and was in her jammies waiting not-so patiently for her cup of milk. Ryan picked her up by her hands to scoot her out of the way of the closing fridge door when he heard a pop.
I came downstairs to see what the screaming was about and found the 2 of them crying together on the kitchen floor :(
Since she refused to grab her beloved Coco with her right arm we headed off to the ER.
She was really good and was in much better spirits than her Dad the entire time. They popped her elbow back in place and off we went.
Apparently, this happens often in kids under 5. Who knew?

If you remember, Tiny's boyfriend had the same thing this summer.

A Night at the Roxbury

Remember these guys?
Well, apparently we watch a little too much T.V. in our house because every time that commercial comes on (Y'know the one, I think it's for Sierra Mist or maybe Pepsi) this happens.

It's so funny that I TiVo'ed the commercial and kept playing it back....
