Tiny-isms

  • "What happened???!!" said with arms outstretched, usually in response to something the dogs have done.
  • "There's a kid!"
  • "Be careful, Mommy"
  • "Hi guys!" always directed at the dogs
  • "Mommy bite it!" when she wants me to taste something
  • "WAKE UP___!!" insert Mommy, Daddy, Coco, any of the dogs...
  • "Coco touch it" this is said when she is caught doing something she isn't suppose to, she always blames Coco. Poor Coco.
  • "Oh maaaaan"
  • "Cute___" insert jams, shoes, baby....
  • "I need this"
  • "I'll get it"
  • "My name is Coco" this is usually said in line at the grocery store, or Target, when someone in line is paying too much attention to her. She holds Coco up and introduces her.
  • "Present Omama" she said this the other day while walking past a giant painting of a wrapped gift. I about died it was so funny!

She also loves to stand in front of the mirror and practice different ways of saying no :)

Day 3

So far, so good.
No tantrums...well, no tantrums about the snack drawer. Ask Jayme, she can tell you about the 10 or so tantrums that were thrown yesterday on our little outing. But I digress.
The snack drawer seems to be working!
She actually seems to be eating less snacks than before! Crazy, I know. A few times I have heard "Snack? Snack?" and I have to remind her that she's got her very own drawer but this whole rationing of the fruit snacks seems to be going stupendously....for now!

Snack Attack!

We have a serious snacking problem in this house. By "we" I mean T.
It is out of control. That girl would seriously eat an entire box of fruit snacks if I let her. All day, it's "Snack? Snack? Snack? Snack?"
She drags me over to the cabinet, literally places my hand on the knob.
Snacks?

Well, we may have a solution (THANKS Megan!)

Behold! The Snack Stash!

She has her very own drawer dedicated to snacks!

She can help herself to snacks ALL day long. All by herself!

Here's the catch....each day I will put a set amount of snacks in the drawer. When the drawer is empty, no more snacks. When the fruit snacks are gone, she can have something else. When the cheerios are gone, maybe a banana will do.
I am prepared for the tantrums that I am certain will happen the first few days when she eats 3 bags of fruit snacks in a sitting and then realizes that there are no more. I know it's gonna get ugly, but I hope this breaks our fruity addiction and I don't have to spend all day listening to "Snacks? Snacks? Snacks?"
